Using 101 to call police

I just had the occasion to call the police on 101 after witnessing some minor drug use on Woodlands Ave W3 (ironically, almost diagonally across from Acton Police Station!). Very easy to get through, polite operator, had someone there by the end of my call. The point is, if you see something, don't ignore it - call it in on 101, no matter how small. In this way we can all help to keep the neighbourhood safe.

Thanks although the firm advice I have had from the police is to ring 999 if you are witnessing an ongoing crime.
