Green Boxes should be going to Schools/Scouts for their Gardening Clubs

Schools are just going back after half-term and teachers may need reminding that this is a great chance to collect some free planters for their Gardening Clubs.My niece is a primary school teacher and was always looking for stuff for growing projects at school.  This is a great opportunity.  The green boxes make good planters for vegetables and herbs and the black bins are good for growing potatoes and according to Thompson & Morgan you can still plant and grow Charlottes.  Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!Karen Liebreich is looking for 10-20 for a community project and Kim Rugg is looking for some too.Anybody else?

I've taken about 25 crates to Cultivate's Salopian Garden where they will be used to grow a big collection of chilli peppers in the polytunnel. I don't think the Acton site will want them as they grow for sale via Farmers Markets and also directly from the site. Incidentally, if you are looking for good plants, their new(ish) site is on Enfield Road, first turning off Bollo Lane as you go down from Acton Town tube. They do direct sales and you can park on site.

So I've tried Ireen who is no longer working on the Global Garden at the school, and Angela who no longer has an allotment and Glenn at Scouts who may not be there any more as he hasn't replied.  Kim Rugg was looking for some but from her thread obviously has another pressing priority.  Karen Liebreich was looking for some for The Salopian Garden (a Cultivate London community project in Isleworth).  I don't know if the Acton site of Cultivate London would like some.
