Has anyone ever been fined for littering in Ealing?

Not anyone on this board, as such, but does anyone actually enforce any anti-littering laws? This is the time of the year when Acton's parks seem to join the streets in being full of litter, but the way so many people just throw litter on the floor makes me wonder whether there is actually any deterrent, or whether many people just expect street cleaners to follow them around and clear up after them.

Yes, but not enough obviously.There also hasn't been enough enforcement over putting out rubbish too early or not safeguarding it until collection.You will see some articles in the local paper and sometimes the Council will have something on their website.  Have you looked at www.ealing.gov.uk and done a search?

If not then perhaps it's about time they DID !!! Why can't people take their rubbish home with them?
