Eddie Izzard Question Time embarrassing

Typical champagne socialist Eddie Izzard ( net worth £12 million ) campaigning to remain in the EU was possibly the best advert for Brexit ever ! How embarrassing and how ridiculous did he look and debate ? Moaning about austerity , how about sharing some of his £12 million ? Bono , Charlotte Church, Eddie Izzard etc these champagne socialists are so hypocrital and embarrassing are they ?

Embarrassing is one thing, your grammar for example. Nasty is something else, your faintly disguised attitudes towards immigration for example. A great advert for BREXIT you are not young man. Still, you're in good company.

Ed maybe you should listen to ex Conservative Prime Minister John Major: "The NHS is about as safe with them as a pet hamster would be with a hungry python” and to the current Conservative Prime Minster David Cameron who joined Brendan Barber (exTUC) in saying "On Europe even we can agree: for British workers it’s better in."So Ed, I'm listening to what senior, neigh the most senior of all Conservatives themselves are saying...I rest my case

Gary, what's really embarassimng is the number of people who repeatedly peddle the NHS Privatisation / Reduction in workers rights scaremongering even though they probably know the facts of the matter show this to be patently untrue.NHS funding in England under the Conservatives has risen from £110B in 2010 to £115B in 2016 - an increase when measured in both cash and real terms. This compares to a reduction in funding of the NHS under Labour in Wales from £6.4B in 2010 to £6.1B in 2016 adjusted for real terms prices.Private sector activity (which isn't all "companies" - it also includes provision by the likes of Macmillan Cancer Care, hospice provision funded by the NHS) has not changed significantly in 7 years. Under Labour it was just over 5% of the budget and 7 years on it's around 6%. You'll have a job convincing anyone with an ounce of common sense that a change of less than 1% over a 7 year period is evidence of an intention to "privatise it at the drop of a hat".  On workers rights, repeated Conservative governments have had plenty of time to remove things like bank holidays but have failed to do so. Under the current parliament there's nothing in the most recent Queens speech or legislative timetable to suggest there's a plan for it now - and they also chose not to normalise Sunday Trading hours which would have had a significant impact on many retail workers.

What is embarrassing is multi millionaire Tory/UKIP politicians who don't give a dam about the NHS and who'd privatise it at the drop of a hat, lying to us that they'll invest £350m extra into the NHS (yeah right) and who don't give a dam about workers rights and who willing sacrifice our jobs, but they'll be all right won't they. Hypocrites.
