Can anyone recommended a PC repair person. I have a 5 year old Lenovo laptop which never really performed great. I would like to get it fixed to give to a friend. I have done a restore to factory settings in the hope that i could install windows 10 but think i've made it worse. Not giving up!

Elsheikh is fantastic. He's a computer engineer with all the hardware to fix all. Find him at his shop PC Nest on the Goldhawk Road across from tube station. Very reasonable and if he can't make it work no one can. Take the 207 along the Uxbridge Road to the Shepherd's Bush market beside the railway arches. Walk through it to the Goldhawk Road and turn right. PC Nest is a few doors down from Sainsbury's Local. 020 8743 9093

There is a computer shop in Acton High Street opposite the Swimming Pool. They do repairs I think.

Bus 440 from Chiswick via Acton High Street to Stonebridge Park stops just outside, Stop name is Whitby Avenue.
