Truly fed up with this council

No wheelie bins delivered. Three weeks without a rubbish collection. Now 15 black bags piled up in front garden of of my block of flats. Rats spotted twice. Cannot report online as the stupid council replies saying "Unfortunately, we have not been able to action this report, as it appears that this property does not receive this type of collection".Three phone calls made to council - total time on hold now over 1 hour. Every time fobbed off about when bins will arrive, when rubbish will be collected and even lied to (I was twice told the bags would be collected and last time I phoned I was told that no request had been made).Why is it people at the council act like they are doing you a favour for doing the job you pay them for?

This whole system is a shambles. Why not assess on a street by street basis what would be appropriate and go from there, rather than one system fits all? I wonder just how much this is costing the council and us via council tax?

If you don'tkow who your Councillors are - you can look them up here and find out how to contact them:https://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/201044/councillorsIt is their job to represent you with the Council - they are paid to do this.

That is worth chasing through one of your councillers - they are getting used to bin complaints and know who to contact.
