It took a while for a response Dennis and it wasn't worth the wait. I won't take any lectures from you about being abusive. Just about every post you have made has been about having a go at someone or whinging and whining about something.As for 'graceful acceptance' you have more front then Blackpool using such an expression bearing in mind your previous attitudes to just about everything anyone else posts. Try to take a leaf from Churchill's book and be magnanimous in victory.

from the W5 Forum;As a second generation Pole I am extremely angry that the media have completely misreported and misattributed this incident. Ealing Today and others have shown an image of POSK or Polski Ośrodek Społeczno-Kulturalny - the Polish Community Centre in Hammersmith with the caption ''Hate attack: Racist graffiti on a Polish community centre in Hammersmith''.I speak Polish, interact with many other Poles in London and very familiar with the Community Centre in Hammersmith where I go regularly to attend theatre performances, and I follow Polish politics. The apparent ''racist graffiti''in the photo actually says: ''FUCK YOU OMP''The OMP or ''Ośrodek Myśli Politycznej'' is a Polish Eurosceptic think tank that supports Brexit.In other words this graffiti was an attack against allies of the Leave campaign in Poland and against Eurosceptic Poles by Europhile Poles who understand Polish politics.This was clearly NOT a ''racist'' attack against Polish people and I am livid that the media is suggesting this in an attempt to smear the 17m people who voted to leave the EU

Even if 'you won' there's no need to be small minded and vindictive in spirit.Anyone with any sense should  be concerned about the future whether in or out, it's just a matter of degree and where you see us better off, financially and with self determination in mind. The figure usually accepted is 8.5 billion a year, about 163 million a week, which is still a considerable sum.

Check all the official figures mr know it all ! £19 billion per year less our rebate which equates to £250 million per week , which we have wasted on the Brussells wasteful bureaucrats. Have you been paying any attention at all? The £350 million figure was debunked in the first few days of the campaign, but Boris insisted on continuing to trumpet it.  I guess they couldn't afford to re-spray the battle bus or just reckoned that some people would be too stupid to notice.  The figure was a lie.  If you want to quibble, it's actually something like £150 million - under half.  This was, as you remember, promised to the NHS in the event of Brexit. Except that Farage has already said that was a "mistake" and Ian Duncan Smith has come out and said that it wasn't a promise and they weren't going to, so there.So...it was a lie.  You get that, don't you?  You were lied to.  Next time you get involved in an election of any sort, you might want to keep up with what's actually going on.

Stock market soaring , highest level since April , pound rising! Imagine when we have the ability to spend the £350 million we wasted on the EU. Farmers protected , NHS stronger and protection of our workers when the millions inevitably flood Europe from Turkey , Albania etc

Rather enjoyed reading Kelvin Mackenzie's article on why he regrets voting leave...Can we really say the new system - when we get one - won't be broke? Not on the current evidence.Ho hum. Kids and husband qualify for Irish passports but I don't....The serious part (apart from the crashing pound/stock-market/confidence rating/exit of jobs and political turmoil,) is the repellent racism which seems to have been legitimised since Thursday. Nasty and unacceptable and as close as Hammersmith if not nearer.

Sterling fell to $1.32 and is now trading at $1.37; when this referendum campaign started it was about $1.44. When everyone realises the UK's economic fundamentals have not changed, the markets will settle down. The Scots will not vote for independence with oil at about $50 a barrel (2/3 of the value when they last voted on independence) and other EU crises emerge over the the next year.Yeh, an independent London and then an independent Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, Sutton, Havering and Hillingdon (majorities for Leave). I want to be a Great Britain not a Little Londoner. I didn't move here 25 years ago to be part of a smug, superior metropolitan elite cut off economically and increasingly political and culturally from the rest of the country. That division ought to be a matter of reflection for everyone.

Leavers have just dammed our country: the pound has collapsed, a referendum will happen in Scotland, absolute years of uncertainty follow and all our nations energy will now have to go into unpicking the constitution, along with sets of intricate and complicated economic and legal frameworks. If you believe in democracy Denis leave London, as we voted overwhelmingly for Remain. Lets campaign for London Independence, we generate much of the Country's wealth and we have nothing in common now with the rest of the Country. I want my London back, vote London Independence!

Very sad day.  London and other major cities which carry this country economically voted to remain by an overwhelming majority however will now have to find a way to manage a very difficult result which will ultimately have negative economic impact for the country.
