Acton Carnival 2016

Old and New Acton is the theme for this year's Acton Carnival. Pr cession start around noon from Crown Street onto Uxbridge Road and than Acton Park. A GREAT annual local event for EVERYONE from ANYWHERE in the world. BREXIT or not we are still partying TOGETHER whichever part of the world you are from.

2 or 3 strong and fit person require to help with one of the moving structure. Its fun and great for community spirit too. Yes you will get free special carnival T-Shirt and entry to the Acton Carnival too. Just come and see me at Woodland Park (Crown Street) tomorrow at 11am.

Please Tony, lets not get personal or persuade. Everyone is different and have their own opinion, no one can force anyone to do "conform" or be "Bully" into doing anything they don't like. We can try encourage and persuade.

Sorry Jim -  thanks for your invitation but I've too much respect for my hearing!  Besides, I will hear enough of it from my flat, where I will be unable to open windows, listen to any radio or tv.  not everyone likes such jollifications!

Understand Nina, but it is a once a year event that finishes at 7pm. Consider that you still can sleep well as usual. Come and enjoy and be part of the event rather than "outside".

Let's hope that more attention is paid to the overloud sound system that we suffered from last year.  Complaints were made and upheld by the environmental people, but whether anything will be done to help those of us living near the park remains to be seen.
