Injured Pigeon

Evening all,This is probably a long shot! I found an injured pigeon on Alfred road this evening. I called the rspca who said that someone would come and collect him this evening. I brought him into my flat and he's wrapped in a box in a towel. The rspca have now called to say they can't come until the morning and the earliest they will call will be 9:00 I need to be at work for 8:30. Can anyone tell me what to do? I don't have the heart to just put him back outside for the cats!

Lovely story.  I rescued an injured Thrush but it died overnight with shock when I took him in.

Thanks Chris. He survived the night and I took him to the vets this morning on Acton lane and the RSPCA are due to collect him from there later on today :)

Don't worry :) I'm going to take him to Acton vets in the morning for the rspca- hopefully he lasts the night. I know they will probably put him down but kinder than letting him succumb to a horrible death being left outside!
