Pushing back the amount of waste generated including packaging...The less you buy wrapped around your purchases the less you have to repurpose or dispose of.

A few weeks back I was pleased to see packs of Wonky Veg at Morrisons. I bought some wonky onions. Haven't seen them recently, though. Perhaps not enough interest?

That's what they do in Germany. It is a good incentive to them to make sure they use a minimal amount of packaging.

You can also take off any unnecessary packaging off items you buy in a supermarket just after you have paid at the till and leave it for them to recycle.

... if/when you shop from them.All those unrecyclable "paper" coffee cups from the high street coffee stores... A good excuse to take your own reusable cup if you're a regular take-away customer.
