Are you still waiting for your wheelie bins?

Are you still waiting for one or both of your wheelie bins? A large percentage of residents who have taken part in the wheelie bin survey on our website (Southfield Conservatives) tell us that they are still waiting for their bins. The Council claim that this is a rare occurrence. We believe the problem is greater than the Council admit. Please tell us if your're still waiting for one or both of your bins and we'll try to help.

Vanessa, I have just had the smaller black wheelie bin delivered today, unfortunately they did not collect the larger black one,If you require one of the large black wheelie bins please get in touch.

Dennis thank you for this, I am contacting the Council about it. Do you know what was used before? It could be that the flats were assessed as not suitable and would remain on a black sack collection. I have the same and was told there would be no change. However, the Council has just decided there will be a change. They will not continue to pick them up every week now they have said alternative weeks for black bags and recycling. This is not what was promised initially to people retaining their black sacks and people don't know which to put out. what was there before? was it a communal bin or individual dustbins?

The VIP Street email was recently set up as a direct email for the Councillors to help them get through because the Council cannot cope with the requests it has received in Customer Services. I am aware though that even the Councillors are having to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get a response from the new email so many are reverting to emailing the Officers directly.

Still waiting for mine, I had ordered a smaller size. I am sharing bins with my neighbour which works out fine until one of us has a party and we have a lot of bottles.emailed about 3 weeks ago but no sign of them so far.

Vanessa a gated community flats 50a to 60a Acton High Street but positioned in Grove Road has 20 flats ,above the shops but no wheelie bins so the rubbish is piling up .I have contacted Ealing council numerous times for over 6 weeks ( ref 546370 , 558706 etc ) but as usual no phone call , email or action!

I've got mine but have asked for a smaller black one; no sign of it. I was speaking to someone in Mayfield Rd, W3, who had had no wheelie bins. It's increasing looking as if the Council ordered too few bins (as well as in the wrong sizes).
