Disposal of an old freezer

We need to get rid of an small old chest freezer, 24 hours after the new one has been delivered.  Can we take it to Greenford? Searched the LBE website and can only find doorstep collections for £40.00, not a one off for £15.00 LBE used to offer. Please can someone advise.

Have another read of what it says (www.ealing.gov.uk)  It can be accessed from the front page (bulky collections)."If you are a domestic customer and have eight items or less, or a fridge or freezer, you can request a collection online or by telephone. Have the list of items ready. Collections cost £40 for up to eight items and £25 per fridge or freezer."So it looks as though it is now £25 for just a fridge or a freezer.  Well that is how I understand it (but it doesn't mean I'm right)!

Yes they will, but it will take 24hours to get the new freezer to temperature and the old one is quite full.

I thought the supplier of the replacement was obliged to remove the old one, although you may be required to have emptied it ready for collection.
