Did look at the Dragonfly brewery page for the George and Dragon at the weekend but there is nothing posted there. Really hope it stays open over the winter months as I love their real fires and wheat bier.

Latest from Dragon Fly Web site.Unfortunately as the sale of dragonfly brewery is likely to be happening around the end of October we wont be brewing our pumpkin beer this year.

To be honest it did feel more homely with the Bar at the front of the Pub. Still love the real fires in the Winter months.

Landlord is a basket case apparently. Moving the bar to the back was brave and stupid as it turns out. Cross fingers it survives as a pub, I tried it a few times but its not a pleasant environment to drink and at a fiver a pop it needs to be.

If more people could be persuaded to use it more often then maybe it would have a better chance of surviving like it is.I did think moving the bar from the front was a mistake though as it makes it look like it is empty when walking past - which makes it look less popular.

Yep totally agree mate.

Shame. Only decent pub in Acton High St nestled among the cheap takeaways, betting shops and estate agents.

Yes,it is the oldest public house in Acton,a Coaching inn fromthe time when the Horse drawn Coaches came down(Horn Lane),so named because the Coachman sounded his horn pending its arrival at the inn.
