Attempted burglary - Friars Way

Incase anyone in the Friars Way/Friary Road area is reading this - there was an attempted burglary in Friars Way 2 days ago.  The family woke in the night to find the burglar downstairs and he escaped without taking anything.  It was 1.30am.   It has been reported to the Police.  The occupants of the house thought the burglar might have been after his car keys - just a hunch.

More security lighting in the winter months may deter burglars or even better CCTV.

They might have left a window open - this happened to us many years ago. We were burgled in the night, while we were there. We think they got in through the kitchen window which had been left open a tiny bit. They must have been very skinny!
