Heard today that Greggs is being turned into a Specsavers. That's three Opticians on the High Street now.

Actually there will be 4 Opticians if you count the one on the corner of Churchfield Road.So lots of Betting Shops and now lots of Opticians. But not much else!

Wilko has a sort of grim fascination - and is a great source of wool for Auntie Essie's knitting hats and scarves for child asylum-seekers. cheap and cheerful. (And better than high end equivalent which I suppose is Tyger - full of tat)
