Dennis, you do realise that both Jesus and Mary are in the Quran, right? This is a lecture critically analysing the Qurans interpretation of those two people, from an islamic perspective.It's not Islam's fault that Christmas is a weird amalgamation of Pagan and Roman festivals and shoehorned in to the end of December for convenience. They have every right to wish to interpret that period of history differently, and it seems appropriate to me to do so at this time of year.That's not to mention that 25% of British people are non-religious. Should they stop celebrating Christmas as well, because they don't agree with it's 'validity' from a Christian perspective?Also, "Every British person respects other religions". HA. I trust that is said with a hint of irony?
