new greek place in Churchfield Rd

It was disappointing today being in new Greek cafe next to Vindinista bar. The food was overpriced and horrible (microwaved rice and tinned vegetables.Not at all honest Mediterranean fresh food. Shame as I love supporting local businesses.Not ever going there again.

I eagery went just after they had opened and had great service and food at very reasonably priced. It was cooked while we waited!  I went again one eveming soon after, as I had spotted that moussaka was on the menu.. I love moussaka.. Unfortunatelty this moussaka had been cooked earlier and then had barely seen the micro wave (!) It was a slab of a dish, cold, and without much flavour - horrible. I was VERY disappointed and I dont think I will go again. They Started well and went down hill? So I am not so sure that 'finding their  feet'  is  working. They have gone backwards. Plus the prices had gone up!!  Pity!

I vacation in Greece 4 times a year and will admit that the food is not perfect but as the previous commentator said, they are still finding their feet so I will continue to support them until it stabilizes.

Same you had that experience, we've eaten there twice and had good food both times. I would encourage everyone to try it out and not be put off by one person's experience.  They are still finding their feet I suspect but like all new local businesses need our support in that period I would suggest.

there's a new Mesopotamian and Persian place opening where the pizza place was, briefly.i wonder what that will be like.
