Can anyone help me contact the right dept at Ealing Council?

Today, Ealing council have kindly planted a new tree in my street, presumably to replace the one that was demolished by a huge truck sometime ago.   Unfortunately, it's in a ridiculous place (not where the original one was) and I would like to contact Ealing to request they move it 12 feet to the left.Can anyone please let me know who or which dept I should contact?  I've been on their website, which, to be honest is unhelpful. Would like to do this quickly as I don't want the tree to root.Many thanks in advance for any information.

There actually is a trees department, part of Environment services along with Parks. Bassam Mafouz is the responsible Cabinet Officer. I think most of the work is contracted out so likely your tree was planted in the wrong place by mistake. I duggest you ring the Customer services numberand ask for a named Officer for trees in Acton. Then e mail the Officer directly.
