RATS !!!

The Gazette front page RODENT ALERT; EALING RAT PROBLEMS ONE OF THE WORST IN WEST LONDONWell, well, well - I thought the introduction of the Wheelie Bins was supposed to stop the rat population getting worse. but it looks like that plan has failed miserably!Walking around Ealing one can see overflowing Wheelie Bins and black bags of rubbish so nothing has changed. In fact the streets are looking much worse than a year ago I am sad to say.So what is the solution ???

I wonder what the bin shed capacity was designed for and how frequent a collection? In the past I have seen multi-occupancy property where agents in the process of selling units haven't bothered to sign up to a proper scheduled bin collection.  Part of the problem was the ridiculous inflexibility of big waste collection companies.  It looks like an area where the WLWA/Enforcement could be working with management to inform residents as they move in.

They need bins down on a acton gardens as they seem to bags once the bin shed is full

We were infested with mice before the wheelies. They have now moved away so I for one am happy with the new arrangement.

Well on that as I posted here last week in Lowry court the NEW    Acton gardens flats loads of rubbish left outside  the bin room as it's was over flowing not surprised  about rats
