Talk Talk Broadband W3

My internet access keeps dropping out.  Has been doing so for about 4 days.  Is this a local problem or is it just me?If it's just me I need advice please. I've been continuously rebooting my modem (upstairs). All looks fine then it goes.It's driving me nuts.Any ideas anyone?  Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem with plusnet. Engineer attended etc and couldn't find a fault.  In the end replaced the modem with a new asus from Amazon and everything is perfect now.

A friend with a BT line has been complaining of problems for a long time, told that it was a fault within their home equipment, not fixed by a new modem or filters. Every time they received a phone call the modem dropped out. Eventually an OpenReach engineer turned up and changed the line termination box. Fixed in less than half an hour.

Don't know if this will be of help, on 12/1/17 on here Timstokes recommends a shop in Feltham 'tech geek' and said the guy lives in Acton, he does phone and computer repairs, thought if you get the phone number he may be of help.
