Pinto Thai Kitchen closing (sob)

From their Facebook page: It has been more than 8 years since Pinto has been established in Acton in September 2008.As a family run business, we have built up and grown little by little together with some changes in Acton over a period of time. We are very happily blessed with our truly lovely customers. Many have been with us since we started the restaurant.Sadly, our restaurant is closing down in 2 weeks time (before end of February 2017) due to the building redevelopment.We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and help. However, we are still looking for the right place to start again and hopefully it is going to be in Acton if we are lucky. Wish we get a few good shops on the high Street  came back from Hounslow central they have h and m  t k max etc why can't Acton ever get this type of shop

Have you counted how many bars, resaurants and coffe shops there are in Churchfield Road?  It is practically all there is, except of course for nail bars and hairdressers.

I love Pinto and am sad to see it closed. Hopefully it is only temporary.I also believe that moving to Churchfield Road would be the best option. We desperately need a few more restaurants there and Pinto would be perfect! There is heavy foot traffic and lots of money being spent there so Pinto should do well. Thanks Pook and Noy!

I second that. It would be a lunchtime destination as well as dinner. We would visit it alot more than we do now because if is close to the Station House, and close to the station itself.

This is sad news. Pinto Thai is my go to for a takeaway when I have worked late or been out and I have had great meals in there also. Fingers crossed they will find a suitable premises in Acton and be back up and running soon.  The silver lining is that the building is being re-developed. That is good news as it looks so bleak.

What about Angela Malik's, now empty, cookery school on Churchfield Road. I am sure you would be very succesful there.
