Would Acton High St. improve with branded Shops ?

Costa and McDonalds are without doubt the busiest shops in Acton ! I love independant shops , but see more empty units every day ! I would love for example a JD sports in Acton , but this would no doubt increase rents ? What is best for Acton ?

We used to have Iceland and Sports Direct in the old Oaks Centre plus some other useful shops. Shame they all went.
