Due to technical issues there is no freshly baked bread and rolls in Morrison today (Sunday). Think the ovens have packed up.

The Morrisons multi-grain - when stocked - is as good as any artisan baker.Sainsbury's bread always seems particularly lacklustre.

I always found it depressingly lacking in wholemeal bread and eventually gave up shopping there.

I recently popped into the Sainsburys Local by Acton Town Tube station and had some lovely Pain Aux Raisins, Almond Croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, and similar. Very nice and much better than the dried up Morrisons offerings.

When they are baking again try the Tiger Sticks, really nice.

There wasn't a very good selection of fresh bread last Sunday either. They had filled the shelves with something called Coburg loaves, as if they had an overstock of that shape so decided not to make anything else.
