Catholic Church which feeds homeless Valuable statue stolen !

The church opens its doors all day to let worshippers and keep homeless warm in the winter. Apparently the cctv shows a homeless person who they feed and keep warm guilty but not arrested . I wonder if the police would be more diligent if the theft was from the mosque ?

Was the statue returned.

Islam is generally considered an iconoclastic religion in which the representation of living things has been prohibited from its very beginning. So its very unlikely you'd find a statue in a mosque to steal.

Paul Scullion ● 3487d

There is obviously something in a mosque to be stolen ! My point was I think the PC Met would have taken it more seriously , news , manpower allocated etc !

Dennis Brogan ● 3486d

You're welcome Dennis.  It's good to have a better understanding of multiple faiths and beliefs.

Paul Scullion ● 3486d

dont thank him, he talks utter rubbish usually with the intent of offending anyone who is muslim, or an immigrant, or an asylum seekers-what a nasty piece of work he is.

Gary Sinclair ● 3486d

Still don't know if they got the Statue back! .....Lol

Perhaps DB has undiagnosed diabetes or keeps forgetting to take his beta-blockers-he certainly likes to vent his spleen.I wonder if he'd refuse medical treatment from a Muslim doctor or nurse.

Dennis knows how to push your buttons that's for sure, medication I think not.

Put The Guardian down and answer this ! Do you think the Metropolitan Police would allocate the same numbers of officers and allocate the same of  publicity if an item stolen of the same value was stolen from Acton church or Acton Mosque ? Have you heard about the theft ? Was it in the local paper or news ? No ! Have minority religious /race hate groups specially employed by the Met Police been informed ? No ! Real world ? No it's so easy for middle class Lefties like you to call me racist , nazi , facist when I dare to request  The Police to treat people of all races /religions the same . Can you give an answer to the question intelligently than your boring response calling me a yawn yawn racist ?

Dennis Brogan ● 3482d

Like I say ...nasty

Gary Sinclair ● 3481d

Dennis if this was the church in Sudbury google 'was there a statue stolen from Church in Acton'  you will be surprised who help recover the Statue.

Janice Evans ● 3481d

One day you may even give an intelligent response to my detailed points ,now your name calling has improved ...

Dennis Brogan ● 3480d

Have you actually asked the Police Brogan-record?? Or are you just spouting your vitriolic hate on here because you haven't got anything better to do. I do remember your sad little request for a beer from anyone on here so maybe get some friends, it'll help widen your opinions outside of Daily Mail headlines. Stupidity is no excuse but it would seem to be at the root of everything you say. Change the record

I have spoken to the Priest and the police and found out that only weeks earlier the poor box was stolen . The police did nothing despite witnesses chasing the thief in the first and cctv in the second . Now can you honestly tell me if Acton Mosque had a poor box taken and weeks later a valuable item stolen , the local press, tv and police would be allocating resources towards it . Can you answer that question intelligently ?

Dennis Brogan ● 3477d

Dennis: The Police like the Local Authorities are suffering from Government cuts to their funding.  It has nothing to do with religion. Where have you been?

Philippa Bond ● 3476d

Philippa we are £1.56 TRILLION in debt ! We cannot keep spending money like Brown /Blair . How many houses / hospital could we build with the interest alone ! You are totally naive if you think the police would not prioritise a theft from a mosque than a church ! This is real life !

Dennis Brogan ● 3476d

Out of interest, Dennis, where is this church and when did this incident happen? There are plenty of 'statue stolen from church' stories out there, many going back several years, but I can't find any recent news item about a local church suffering in this way. Please can you fill in the details for us?

Peter Evans ● 3476d

Detail???you mean like his shameless claim that the Council allocate 90% of social housing to immigrants. Not a shred of evidence ever presented. He's an unpleasant chap who loves to stir. Give no weight to what he says.

Gary Sinclair ● 3475d

So how do you account for the fact that austerity measures have actually greatly increased the debt.  And when wasn't there a debt?  You'll be telling me next that Blair/Brown were responsible for causing the global monetary crisis.  They weren't.

Philippa Bond ● 3475d

5 weeks ago , poor box stolen 4 weeks earlier which police didn't attend .The reason you haven't heard is the local police are not publicising it is Christians are only the majority and are not under their prioritised under their minority / diversity policies!

Dennis Brogan ● 3475d

I said only 29 per cent or permanent Social housing over the last 3 years were British citizens of all colours . I have said many times the freedom of information reply was e mailed to me from Ealing Council to my phone on a PDF folder . I will meet Gary or anyone else in Acton to show them the full report !

Dennis Brogan ● 3475d

Im laughing so hard, you really need to re-read your own threads and outlandish claims, (everyone can) you've said no such thing. Sorry but I'm holding you firmly to account as you have peddled some really distorted unpleasant stuff, just like I'm going to hold you to account when you stand for election, lol :) Can't wait.

Gary Sinclair ● 3474d

I never found any recent stories about a statue stolen and Dennis is not saying!

Janice Evans ● 3474d

Middle class keyboard warrior mug Gary has all the insults yet no answers . Gloucester Gary has proved he is a coward by not meeting me so I can show him the facts he says I am lying about ! Keyboard mugs from Gloucester should not call working class people liars if they are too scared to see the truth or face the person they have called a liar ! Go back to Gloucester and stop hiding behind your keyboard when you obviously been proven a liar ! Hackney ha ha what a joke !
