Noise disturbance through the night

Is anyone else experiencing a low hum of a noise in the churchfield road near Newburgh Road end. It goes on through the night and is keeping me awake. Sounds a bit like listening to a tumble dryer or living a few doors down front an all night club that plays very base heavy music. It goes on and on and Imwondering if anyone else is affected

I heard it too, low thump! thump! I'm St Dunstans. First I thought it might be the chuff chuff of a steam train but I think it could be crossrail work.
