The Park Club were always quite a good neighbour and even on exceptionally busy days there wasn't much disruption. The concern would be that David Lloyd might want to sweat the asset a bit more and bring in more members by offering discounts. Is there any limit to the membership numbers as a condition of planning approval?

Oh yes. Park Club has closed, staff gone to other jobs. Council has been in discussion with the club and David Lloydfor a year or more. It's a huge development project.
