So far no response from all the help I gave to the owner of the cat.She said she had tried shop bought worming treatment with no effect. I volunteered to go to the vet S for treatment. Did so and kind vet's nurse said puss must be registered first. Also said tell the lady to phone for free advice .She would give her the names of Charities to help her with fees if needed. Also sold me a pretty collar with " Do not feed me on it ". Good idea as several people had been leaving out food over several months.I wrote a letter in French her native language and enclosed the collar with the vet's card. Next morning puss on my doorstep as usual without the little collar yowling for food. In case other tenants in the MHO HOUSE had discarded my first letter , I wrote another. Late afternoon found a note under my door merely saying " Do not feed my cat. I have fed it plenty. It will be ill. Yesterda puss still in my front garden all day. Today, Wednesday, no sign of it all.Did my best to help Nina . Thank you for directing me what to do Nina Seems to have backfired at the moment unless puss is now allowed indoors or gone to the vet for treatrment. Vet thought it may have thyroid problems and not worms you see.
