morrisons        trolleys    what a laugh

I  have phoned  the  the  store  to  tell  that  10 small trolleys and 5 big  ones  were  at  south  acton gave them  the  post  code and  emailed  head  office  still there 3 weeks. anyway  this  morning went  to  the store to  be  told  that the  guy that collects  them  is  on  holidays but  he  is  back  on Friday  there is no  locks on  trolleys  maybe  next  year  as  Morrisons  has  not  come  up  with a way  to sort  out the £1 coin. Collections  of  trolleys will  be  every  2 weeks so keep phoning the branch  THEN they email  head office to  sort  it  out must  have  a post  code when  you  phone.  what  a  joke  of  a  company

There is an app called Trolleywise you can download on Android and iPhone - http://www.trolleywise.co.uk/ - it allows you to take a photograph of the trolley/ies and then you confirm the location, a report is then sent to Trolleywise who pick up the trollies within a couple of days and return them to the supermarket they came from. They also make a donation to charity for every trolley they pick up. Much quicker than reporting to the supermarket themselves.

Yes they have this southern Ireland the trolley wheel locks once it goes outside the carpark .

I think an American Company/Supermarket came up with an idea to stop the trolleys being taken beyond the boundary of the store grounds, cannot remember how, think they were immobilised somehow beyond a certain point, maybe Morrisons needs to investigate further for a solution.
