Great Italian restaurant opening but in the wrong place in Acton !

Tarantella who are in Chiswick are opening opposite the Town hall ! I fear the worst for them ! Churchfield Road yes , Acton High St no ! I hope I am wrong , but location is everything!

Agree bit of an odd choice but brave and I will leave my Churchfield road enclave to eat there. Hopefully will open up the high street and worth support

Really pleased.  In the six years we have lived on the High Street we have seen that place open as so many things.  The lovely guys who ran Meatcetera were great, and the burgers were very good.  But they just couldn't make it pay.The only problem I have is that Tarantella will be competition for the wonderful Costa and Paula over at Geniune - a place which serves the kind of homely Italian. food Rick Stein would rave about, yet is empty most nights.

Fantastic to see investment in the High Street.  Hopefully this will encourage others and result to two prime locations.

We need some diversity in the High St - we don't all want fried chicken - so I welcome it
