London Transport Musuem; Battle Bus screen printing Project
Hi All,My name is Joyce, I work as an apprentice for the Battle Bus project.I am currently recruiting young people aged between 18-25 to take part in a screen printing project .The theme of the project is the Battle Bus, the bus which took soldiers to war ,and the Home Front during the First World War. Participants will learn about screen printing taught by a screen print artist and they will create their own art pieces inspired by this theme. They will also have the opportunity to deliver a screen print activity at the Battle Bus exhibition launch events.The participants will earn a Bronze Arts Award, an award which helps them build essential skills, confidence and interest in creative career pathways. There will be an induction day at the Museum on Thursday 24th August 10:00-14:00.The project will take place from Monday 28th August to Friday 1st September 10:00-16:00 at the Museum Depot in Acton.
