Passports and Acton post office

If you want your passport checking avoid Acton post office .A lady who works there is over zealous and looks for errors when there arnt any. Very frustrating

Believe me if you had to use Chiswick General Post Office with its long queues and slow service, you would realise how lucky you are to have the Acton Central post office!It's mix of DIY self service with a permanent official to help and the counter clerks to handle other tasks as needed, who I must admit I always find as very thorough, has provided me anyway with a much needed alternative.

I just find the entire service at that Post Office frustrating, which is why it's a real shame that Post & Packing closed.

You can avoid a lot of errors by filling the form in online then having them post it to you for signature and photos.

She is probably just doing her job right. It is the passport office who is over zealous - I used the check and send service once at a different post office and it was cleared but then rejected by the post office. By carefully checking for any possible errors she is helping you avoid a problem later.
