Dog mess

As a responsible dog owner I pick up my dog mess , bag it and put it in my bin. However we have a number of Acton dog owners who are irresponsible to bag the mess BUT leave the bag where the dog poo was made .. WHY ??? One of mt Grafton road neighbors does this and I am happy to shame and have collected used bags and delivered them to their garden.Unacceptable to expect the council to clean up SO call out to them if you see these neighbors and shame these anti social people .I won't call out the lager cans dumped on the streets on this mail ....

Back then a lot of dogs were left out to wander the streets, remember our dog used to come and go as he pleased.

'In my day' I remember there were plenty of doggy droppings in the gutter and by trees and in the park, but very quickly they dried out into shrunken grey objects which broke up and presumably blew away. Now we have little black plastic bags with their soggy doggy contents left lying about the place which look worse and will last for ever. Is this really a step forward?

Ahhh the good old days... just how many comments on this forum reflect on how good things used to be?Before 1996 there was no law on picking up after your dog and I certainly remember from my childhood that every verge would be full of the stuff.  But still, that doesn't fit with the "it wasn't like that in my day" mantra.

Didn't they realise when they got the dog that it would do this?Don't people think any more?  They are certainly less considerate than in the past.
