Crown Street Shops

Walked past here last night and at least 6 of the shops are now boarded up. The sports cafe in the middle was still thriving with guys loitering the street outside. Anyone know what the plan is with these shops as it's always been that first ugly block you see when walking from the station to the high street.

Crown Street is no more crime ridden than any other urban street in West London - I've been walking up and down it daily for the past 40 years. The nearest to danger I've encountered is nearly being knocked over by a pavement cyclist.

Crown Street looks like a back alley in Somalia , would you rent a shop there? Would you as a woman feel safe walking past these loiterers? Crown Street is a filthy crime ridden area , would anybody sane rent a shop there ?????
