Well said you too Sarah. The Streets in Acton Hill area have lost many family homes to property developers as soon as they come onto the market. In my street alone,  11 houses are already converted into  flats. It is like living in a gold fish bowl we are so overlooked. Also, interesting to note that none of the " new builds "  have been sold after many months. Just languishing there . Sadly a precedent  has been set now. Same developer buying up these lovely houses.

Well said Dr John but we who live here and understand the problems could do nothing about it.The council, who should take all these points into account, doesn't seem to care about anything except the future ££££ from council tax.All in all I'm very fed up with the council.

Sarah,of course you are right,no accident and emergency facilities local,one fire engine in Acton,more cars ,more pollution,we are getting very over crowded,Hospitals,Doctors,Transport,more local population means more risk,and we will need more,Police,Fire and Ambulance services,we dont need more high rise flats,too many in Acton already,Ealing is too big as a Borough unmanageable now,regards John.

I think the eventual impact of so very many homes being built in Acton will be horrendous. Traffic, pollution etc

Isn't 350 new homes and a supermarket and the inherent cars that will be parked at both going to have a negative impact on an already very congested area of the A 40.  Acton seems to excel at building very tall blocks of homes (at this site up to 16 stories) and increasing pollution in an already over polluted London suburb.

Last time I went they had no trolleys. Not a good sign. And they withdrew from Nectar which was irritating. However the worst thing was the way the car wash blocked access and took over parking spaces and generally made it difficult for Homebase customers.

Not surprising I suppose - and not a huge loss - I will miss the cheap and rather good plants though. And the cut through the car-park....But everyone there - staff and customers alike - always looked so miserable and oppressed that inevitable...
