Walked down churchfield road earlier and noticed a new shop called churchfield food store- looks quite fancy- anyone know much about this? Is it a whole foods style shop?

Very friendly staff but it was super busy when I took my friend yesterday for coffee so we ended up in a very empty Laveli!

Yes I agree - the layout is difficult on a busy Saturday morning. There was also a dog in there which I found disconcerting as they sell fresh food

I think the "shop" has a stupid layout. You cannot easily get to the dimly lit back room for clutter of buggies and children.It's the wrong way round.

I can assure you that the olive oil is superb... just took a bottle home: ) They let you bring your own bottle to refill or you can buy one there...

Oh my, their pastries are amazing! They were super friendly and I will def be back. Will be taking a bottle with me to try their olive oil, which comes straight from the producer.

Looks fab. Coffee very strong and`i talon ...amazing pastries exceptionally bad news for the diet.Had the flaky lemony one but have to return for cannoli soon.Ace looking parmigiana too

Just had a coffee and a sandwich here. Absolutely lovely. They have a deli counter and sandwiches made to order. This is a great addition to the area. Can't recommend highly enough. Let's hope this helps reinvent churchfield road and encourages more independent businesses to open here.

Wasn't one yesterday and windows covered so difficult to see how close they are but, from my chat with someone in The Station House who knows what is happening, it does seem to be very close.
