Dog attack on Goldsmith Road

My son was attacked about half an hour ago at the junction of Goldsmith Avenue and Goldsmith Road by a brown bull-dog type dog being walked on the lead down towards Churchfield Road by a woman who seemed not strong enough to be able to control it. My son is a big, strong 24 year old who loves dogs but was quite shaken by the incident. If this happens to anyone else, please post on here.

If the dog is escaping and not under control it could attack a small child so best to report it.

Do you mean a mastiff type dog? If so, my dog was attacked by a brown mastiff a few evenings ago at the top of Eastbourne Avenue where the alleyway meets Emmanuel Avenue.  It was about 6pm and it seemed that the dog escaped from one of the red brick houses along Emmanuel Avenue, pursued by a young girl and two youngish men.  They also could not control the dog.  My OH had to kick the dog away until the owners got it under control. As there were no injuries to our side we didn't report it and not sure I would bother anyway as the police don't take it seriously.
