Totally agree about the dining room. It was a beautiful room. Shame they can't offer a few well kept, interesting ales. Really behind the times on this.

I just always find the Rocket so poorly laid out. That long bar taking up almost 40% of the width of the room meaning that you can only really get one line of tables along the otherside (minus the bit in front of the side doors) makes the clientele far too spread out and the atmosphere really poor.I much prefer the Station House these days, used to go to the Rocket all the time though.

No, but there were suddenly a lot more people in there again last Sunday. It seems that the bloke who ran it had been away, for ages, so hopefully things are back to normal now he's back.
