The Rocket is back ..... and in style
The Rocket is back.......We had a wonderful diner on Thursday night , 14th April, at the Rocket.Fillip hosted us with panache, and I can assure you that they are back on form, even stronger!We started with Pan-fried Scallops and Pork Belly, accompanied by a wonderful pea purée.We continued with a Rolled Lamb shoulder for myself and Pan -fried Salmon with quinoa for Paul.We still had some space for a cheese selection and a very generous fruit crumble ans custard .I was even able to taste ! All very yummy The White Sancerre was delicious - We could have been tempted for some more, but not on a school night ! Portions are very sensible and you very much get value for your money.I am so glad the Rocket Pub has now bounced back and I urge all of you to give it another try and support Fillip and your local business once again.Very well deserved.
