Thoughts on cost of living.
Was thinking back to 70s and how hard couples had to work doing day jobs and evening jobs to make ends meet, most of our friends were in this situation some were doing deliveries for Chinese restaurants etc., others were working for cab firms during the evenings and one was doing mechanics in a garage. Having very little together time it was work, work, work and no holidays for most. What are your thoughts, do you think it is more difficult now or is it that more people live alone in which case I can fully understand why they cannot manage.
