Old Bingo Hall / Arch Climbing Acton

Originally this was going to be opening early 2018, then Spring and then Summer and now it's all very quiet.Officially there is no update but a little bird told me that the Council / Building / Planning were getting their knickers in a twist about interior period bits being removed or touched in some way. Clearly that's just a bit of gossip which I hope is untrue.I was just wondering if anyone else had heard anything or could shed any further light on this?This will (hopefully!) be a fantastic addition to Acton's facilities. It's a great activity for all and especially for children, and something that can be done regardless of the weather.

Council has just (5th July 2018) granted permission for application from January: https://pam.ealing.gov.uk/online-applications/centralDistribution.do?caseType=Application&keyVal=P28SFSJMJH400

My guess from looking at the updates to the application is that there was an issue with some railings on the inside of the building. Perhaps some had been taken down and they had to restore to look like the original.

Update from Arch Climbing Wall FB Page:Quick centre news update:Acton (Arch West), is now well underway, with progress happening fast. We are hoping to open late summer and will be updating you all more regularly from now on.
