Missing Cat

Our tabby cat Olivia has gone missing.  She does often disappear for a few days at a time but now we haven't seen her in almost a week. We live in Chaucer Road.  She is chipped but no collar.  Please let me know if you have seen her.  Thanks Jo

My rescued stray went crazy when I put a collar on but soon settled when he realised it was there to stay.

Mine too. I've had several cats over the years that wouldn't wear a collar, and that includes ones I've had from kittens where you try and start them early to get them used to it. Some just won't. But microchipping is essential.

Not all cat's tolerate wearing a collar. I got my Tom from Cat's Protection and he went absolutely ballistic when I put a collar on him. He is microchipped.

Cats should wear a collar even if they are chipped because people mistake them for strays, your cats would be returned quicker surely.  Hope you get her back soon.

We saw a small tabby cat in our garden recently but not since Wednesday. Hope she is back home but if we see her again will let you know.
