I think you’re right, Bob.  Back in ‘61 it was mostly just the C of E and the Catholics.  Now we have more Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus, not to mention a flood of ‘New Age’ nonsense.  But the proportion of ‘Nones’ within the population has steadily increased over the years.  Now it’s just over halfI believe.  A reason to be cheerful maybe.

Given the plethora of religions that are rife throughout British society, I would suggest there's no way we are free from superstition.Still, I live in hope.
