I think I saw a report of both a car on fire and another car going the wrong way on A40 today so I expect they contributed as well.

Exacerbated by closure of a40 or at least some lanes at Perivale which seems to have been going on most of the day. Management of roadworks has been appalling for years despite various promises to improve it.

This is infuriating! It’s causing such jams and people are using residential streets as rat runs.
