Ordinary looking houses, but with six bins outside.

I've noticed a few very normal looking semi-detached houses (with a single buzzer and single letter box) accommodating six bins within their curtilage - three refuse and three recycling. Other houses have four bins, though I've yet to see eight!Might they be HMOs? I have no idea of their legality if so.And do you have to pay extra for more than the one standard refuse and recycling bin per household?

Why do you need a FOI request in LBE to find out when you don't in other boroughs?

If this house is a YOM in Acton it should have a licence issued by the Council. If you ask for a list of licensed HMOs using an FOR, you will get on. Warning, the last time I looked, the pending licence list was longer than the licensed list.

You can purchase extra bins to store extra recycling etc but they will only collect the one bin unless they have opted for more to be emptied.

You could look on the planning site to see if there has been permission sought for a conversion? If not you can report it to Ealing Council, they were advertising this reporting facility, but can't remember where.

Nope, very inconspicuous & very ordinary looking, standard suburban houses, definitely not flats, and only one letterbox & one doorbell as said. Maybe just very, VERY large families?!Possibly all quite innocent, but definitely strange.

Flats?LBE does not seem to publish a list of HMOs.  Last time I looked other councils did.  Perhaps apart from googling to see if someone else has you could put in a Freedom of Information Request.  I googled it and it seems that the Council does not have a database of this information.  Can this be right?
