Well, the Christmas lights have gone up onto the lamp posts on Churchfield Road. Just a string of lights wrapped round. Is that the best they could manage,again?

LEDs are low energy. We should all be changing our lightbulbs to low energy - if we haven't already have done so. And re-thinking the ways that we save energy AND keep ourselves cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold.There are other forms of Christmas cheer!

In recent years we have had to make do with miserable Christmas which resemble tinsel wrapped around a pole! Is that what our council think of Acton?

Miss the old daffodil Christmas lights down the high street. As opposed to the horrible blue ones strung up the lampost.
