South Acton drugs

Seems this is area is back to the old days , whatever LandQ say or Acton Gardens something needs to be done, especially Barwick house and carlsbrook court

I had cause to collect something from that road last summer, around 4pm. As soon as I turned into the road, the smell of cannabis was overwhelming and a group of 5/6 young guys, looked Somalian in appearance were sitting on a garden well smoking with impunity. I was even asked if I wanted to but some. Was reported.

Thank you Libby, great ideas - we have taken some of this action and are always grateful for advice. All the Guardians in the building have been in touch with necessary people so hopefully this is making some noise. The police have been doing door to door calls today and are meeting with some of us tonight to discuss further.

I phoned south Acton police and left a message to contact meI surpose holday time it will next week .I will get on to L and Q about the lighting they were surpose to fix and fit new ones  .

I think a mass emailing from everyone on the estate, or as many as you can contact to all three ward councillors on a daily basis until something is done.  If after one week there has been no explanation or noticeable action email Paul Najsarek Ealing's CEO copying in the ward councillors explaining that you have had no response from the ward councillors. And if this doesn't work email Cressida Dick and Sadiq Khan.It does need to be a mass attack, the more emails the better.

You are right though Ms Callanan, so I shall cease and desist.I sincerely hope the dire situation there is swiftly and soundly remedied, no-one should have to live under those appalling and long term continuing circumstances.

I have made a helpful contribution, but it's unfortunately a longer term solution. It's all about who and what you vote for, and I do NOT mean Conservative. The situation you are living with is appalling and should obviously be addressed, but it clearly isn't. Why?Nothing is seemingly being done to help you and I genuinely commiserate. It's just not right.

I have no doubt whatsoever, nor do most people, that the Police could, and would, sort this out completely satisfactorily within a month. They're itching to.We all know exactly why their actions are constrained and I will leave it at that before the Pinko Lefty Liberal Socialist tirade! I thank you.    :-)

Yes, everyone I could including Rupa Huq who has replied and said she has been in touch with relevant people too. The police have been very responsive so hopefully all this traffic from people is making a change!

I find the situation at Barwick House completely unbelievable from a number of reasons, including the fact that vandals have totalled my car.As far as I understand from residents in the building, the youths vandalising the place have been at it for a LONG time. Police, as I've experienced myself, aren't effective in dealing with the vandals. The Ealing Council, L&Q / Acton Gardens, and the company currently managing some of the flats for guardians (a company called LOWE) don't really seem to care about doing anything.No action seems to be taken, and even though I've been in touch with both L&Q / Acton Gardens, and LOWE, the responses I get are just "not my problem", with no serious action being taken.What's scariest, and I'm not the only one who's reported this behaviour to the police, is that these kids are throwing shopping trolleys from the top of the building on the car park... This could KILL someone if it falls on them.Scary!

Glad you did, I have too so hopefully enough traffic will get their attention. My partner has filed reports with the police too. We have plenty of photos and video evidence. Yes, Acton Gardens wrote to us saying they were demolishing those old storage units to prevent anti-social behaviour, turns out with the non-working lights it's providing perfect cover it's just become worse. It's an awful situation to have people living in - I expect it will get worse before better and not until something very serious happens will any action be taken.

That's terrible I have reported it to the local councillors, I see Acton gardens are using it for storage they knocked down the garges  in the middle of the yard doing that they knocked the lights out around the car park I have asked Acton gardens to fix them plus repair the new ones or the council repair them NO reply from both .Yes we don't walk around the area now not even in day light .

I am part of a small group of property guardian who live in Barwick house and it's been horrific lately. The biggest fear is not only that cars are being destroyed beyond use but that these gangs are throwing shopping trollies from the 11th floor down onto the car park - someone could be killed. We are trying to stay on top of things by calling the police when we see trouble, but these gangs just abuse the police and no effective action happens. It seems that dealing happens on the end of Strafford Road. It's pretty dodgy around there - if you people can, steer clear. oh, I also received confirmation that it's Ealing Council that is still responsible for the property and car park.

I saw a drugs deal a few weeks ago-top of Derwentwater Road toward Churchfield Road-with a group of around 7-9.  Right outside someone's house-in broad daylight.
