Mugging Noel Rd.

Be warned - there's a violent scooter mugger active in the West Acton Horn Lane area. I saw a lady being mugged violently for her handbag on Noel Rd. opposite the playing fields last night by a bloke on a scooter. He sped off when I turned up leaving the victim very distressed and badly hurt with blood pouring out of her mouth. She wouldn't let me call the police because she was worried about not having a UK visa (she said she's from the Ukraine) so I helped her get cleaned up and walked her to a bus stop. I called the police after she'd gone and reported it so they know but take care when you're out after dark

I cannot remember the last time I saw a Police patrol in South Acton or the High Street.

Totally agree Tony. I did not say he was from Noel Rd btw. I said he was in Noel Rd.Nedver mind tho' I suppose if we had any police patrol presence nowadays when we need it most this type of 'low level crime'(I hate that phrase) would not happen so often.

To be honest guys it does not matter if the mugger is local or not. It's not a nice thing to happen and I hope the scum bag gets caught by the Police.

I read your comment as being that the mugger was from the local area but maybe that's not what you meant.

I've lived around Acton Mainline for nearly 20 years and have never felt worried or concerned walking the area. The fact the mugger was on a scooter suggests he could be from anywhere. If he was local surely he'd be on foot.

If you ever bother to check the crime statistics, be on your guard in the area around/opposite Acton Main Line.That is all.    :-)
