Horn Lane gridlocked all day

Horn lane has been a nightmare for a couple of weeks but nothing is moving today. What is going on and what is the council doing to aliviate it. Are they not supposed to schedule works so they don’t all happen at the same time?

I live up this way so have seen the mess every day (luckily I could avoid it).I wonder why they didn't put up electronic signs at the bottom of Horn Lane like they have previously to warn people not to come that way. It's a really useful system which they've used in the past and really helps.At least part of the works was done during half term so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Anyway, thanks for the update.

My original report has dropped back to page 2. I walked through the area early this evening, the cones taking out two lanes on the east side of Victoria Road have gone, but the slip road from the A40 eastbound is still closed, and there is no entry to Park Royal Road. However all the several holes remaining have concrete to about 3-4 inches below the road surface level so should have tarmac by the end of Friday. They have been lucky with the weather.

According to the roadworks report in the newsletter today there is Cadent works on Horn Lane is due to finish. However, the cycle lane works are also getting started so they may also be contributing. Haven't driven in the area recently so couldn't say for sure.
