Literary types in Acton

There's a piece in today's Observer taken from a list initiated by the excellent Chiswick Book Festival and on-line archive Chiswick Timeline of Writers and Books - listing all the literary types in W4. They include Alexander Pope and Harold Pinter and about 250 others. They have challenged other book festivals, libraries and local history societies to come up with their own list. Some of the entertainers and literary figures listed coincide with our own - eg Roger Daltrey and Eric Morecambe (I am reliably told he once lived in a room in the house where I now live).Acton Arts Project, the group working on bringing Acton Library back into use as a cinema/arts hub has tweeted from their Twitter account @ArtsActon. Their list is as follows:Toby YoungRowley LeighSean ConneryLionel BartLinford ChristieEmilia FoxAnna ChancellorI would add Roger Daltrey, Pete Townsend and Eric Morecambe.I know there will be quite a few others I haven't thought of. Please add to this thread or tweet @ArtsActon. Anyone from Acton History Group know of any other W3 literary connections?

Fantastic literary news from Libby and Claire. The Chiswick list covers a broad spectrum of literary types. Journalists are definitely allowed. Waiting to hear if literary agents can go on the list.
