Multi Millions & Multi Millions of £££s in Tower Developments in Acton, so

just WHERE is the S106/CIL monies?Assuming of course LBE even demanded it, and didn't roll over and say "That's OK Mr Developer, we'll waive it, No Charge!"?I mean, there should be HUGE, visible improvements for Community Benefit in North Acton alone from S106/CIL funds, so WHERE IS IT, WHERE'S THE MONEY?

Reasons for applying 106 and not CIL, which almost all other boroughs collect:106 money can be red-allocated to which ever income stream has a hole. CIL money can't.Where there are Neighbourhood Forums they have a 25% say in how CIL funds are spent.

Excellent business decision, makes perfect sense, from our oh so caring and business astute Local Labour Party in control of LBE Planning.And I do believe there are some on here who believe BellEnd & Co have no influence on Planning Decisions?  🤣

Ealing doesn't levy CIL from developers as I understand - just the 106 - hence the lack of infrastructure and the surge in heavily over developed park areas.

Look in the Agenda Document pack for the meeting and you will see the 106 money allocation.  However as it is 106, rather than CIL, if and when it is received, the council can re-appropriate it to fill a whole in any revenue stream. The "Gammon" speaking on behalf of the developer, when being quizzed over lack of social housing suddenly announced that £6m plus would be available for social housing on the redeveloped Friary Park estate.  This hadn't appeared anywhere in the documentation.
